Q – What is the Mosaic project? A – The MOSAIC – One in Diversity Project is to celebrate the Year of Equal Opportunities for all is a collaboration between the National Commission for the Promotion of Equality and nine civil society and National authority partners, including the Commissioner for Children’s office, European Network Against Racism, Malta Federation of Organisations for People with Disability, National Council for the Elderly, National Youth Council, Malta Confederation of Women’s Organisations, Malta Gay Rights Movement, National Council of Women, National Youth Information Centre. Q – What are the six grounds of discrimination? A – Since the Treaty of Amsterdam in 1997 the European Union has empowered themselves to combat six grounds of discrimination which are Gender, Race and Ethnicity, Religion or Belief, Sexual Orientation, Age, and People with Disability.
